A better life. We all want it. We don't have to live in regret. He is our protector. We can choose Him. We come to the Father through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. He is just waiting to hear your voice. There's a better way! Kingdom living. It is as simple as "Father, I need You. Forgive me of my sin. I receive Jesus as my Savior. Fill me with your Holy Spirit. Amen."

Marlena Compston shares her own story of choosing abortion many years ago. She was 5 weeks pregnant and bought the lie that the baby was a 'mass of tissue'. She didn't understand that God's Word is very clear on the sanctity of life (Read Psalms 139) and that God had a plan for her and her baby. She went through many years of deep regret and unforgiveness towards herself until she was able to receive God's forgiveness and repent of the choice to abort. If you have chosen abortion in your past, there is forgiveness for you, too.
Father, I repent of the decision to abort my unborn child. Forgive me and help me to forgive myself. I receive your forgiveness today. Amen (Read I John 1.19)
Marlena discusses crystals, tarot cards, and the universe. She shares when she had stepped into a world of reiki and came to a decision to renounce it all. It was powerful, however, that power came from the darkness. The more she learned, she clearly saw that it was not aligned with her faith in Jesus Christ, or His plan for us.
In this raw and deeply moving conversation, Marlena opens up to Steve about her personal battle with depression and how she came dangerously close to ending her life. Through God’s grace, she discovered that even in the darkest moments, there is a plan for good and hope for the future.
In this testimony, Marlena shares: The emotional toll of depression and how it impacted her life. Her near-suicidal experience and the turning point that saved her. How she found healing and purpose through God’s love and guidance. The powerful message of hope and faith she now carries to inspire others. Encouragement for anyone struggling with depression or feeling lost.
Marlena’s story is a powerful reminder that no matter how deep the pain, God’s plan is greater, and His love is unwavering. If you or someone you know is facing similar struggles, this conversation is one of hope, healing, and faith.
Marlena shares the beginnings of her story with Steve Harper with PBN. Marlena chooses real and raw when it comes to sharing her testimony of abuse as a child, along with the struggles through depression and near suicide three times in her life. She shares HOPE in the Lord Jesus Christ, and has a restoration call on her life. Her call and desire are to set the captives free ~ (Isaiah 61) ~ She shares her testimony to help others come out of the darkness, and into the freedom we are offered in a faith walk with Jesus Christ.
Marlena shares that we have a lot of influence over the people in our life. We never know who is watching our life. There are those we can have influence over, and those we cannot. She shares two stories of people that she had the opportunity to lead to the Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit whispered to heart 'today is their day of salvation'. God is faithful. He loves us. He's just waiting to hear from you.
